基于CPU-GPU混合计算平台的RNA二级结构预测算法并行化研究

RNA二级结构预测是生物信息学领域重要的研究方向,基于最小自由能模型的Zuker算法是目前该领域最典型使用最广泛的算法之一。本文基于CPU GPU的混合计算平台实现了对Zuker算法的并行和加速。根据CPU和GPU计算性能的差异,通过合理的任务分配策略,实现二者之间的并行协作计算和处理单元间的负载平衡;针对CPU和GPU的不同硬件特性,对Zuker算法在CPU和GPU上的实现分别采取了不同的并行优化方法,提高了混合加速系统的计算性能。实验结果表明,CPU处理单元在混合系统中承担了14%以上的计算任务,与传统的多核CPU并行方案相比,采用混合并行加速方法可获得15.93的全局加速比;与最优的单纯GPU加速方案相比,可获得16%的性能提升,并且该混合计算方案可用于对其它生物信息学序列分析应用的并行和加速。     

UNAMID: an African solution to a complex case of geopolitical dynamics

This article examines the geopolitical dynamics associated with the African Union (AU) and United Nations hybrid operation in Darfur (UNAMID) from the start of the Darfur conflict in 2003 until the time when UNAMID became fully operational in 2011. It provides an overview of the complex forces and geopolitical dynamics that affected the deployment of UNAMID and shaped its unique hybrid character. It mainly highlights those primary geopolitical factors that hindered the full deployment of UNAMID. It is concluded that this period was a showcase for the newly established AU and its support for its member states, as well as a new approach for the international community to maintain international peace and security in alliance with regional organisations.     

Exact likelihood inference for the exponential distribution under generalized Type‐I and Type‐II hybrid censoring

Chen and Bhattacharyya [Exact confidence bounds for an exponential parameter under hybrid censoring, Commun Statist Theory Methods 17 (1988), 1857–1870] considered a hybrid censoring scheme and obtained the exact distribution of the maximum likelihood estimator of the mean of an exponential distribution along with an exact lower confidence bound. Childs et al. [Exact likelihood inference based on Type‐I and Type‐II hybrid censored samples from the exponential distribution, Ann Inst Statist Math 55 (2003), 319–330] recently derived an alternative simpler expression for the distribution of the MLE. These authors also proposed a new hybrid censoring scheme and derived similar results for the exponential model. In this paper, we propose two generalized hybrid censoring schemes which have some advantages over the hybrid censoring schemes already discussed in the literature. We then derive the exact distribution of the maximum likelihood estimator as well as exact confidence intervals for the mean of the exponential distribution under these generalized hybrid censoring schemes. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 基于GA-PSO的目标分配问题研究

防空作战中的目标分配问题属于NP完全问题,在综合考虑火力单元作战效能和防御效能的基础上,引入火力单元综合有利度,建立了一种用于大规模多火力单元对抗多轮次目标的静态目标分配模型,给出了基于GA因子的改进PSO算法,并将算法应用于目标分配模型的求解,通过VC 6.0编程和计算机仿真验证了模型的可行性和算法的有效性.

重庆市某混合式热泵工程经济配置方案模拟分析

基于重庆市某混合式热泵工程,采用TRNSYS软件分别就室内温度、湖水温度、地埋管流体温度以及供冷能耗进行了模拟,并与实际运行数据进行对比分析,确定了该模型的准确性和可行性.最后对土壤源热泵承担总负荷15％,25％,35％,45％的4种方案与传统方案一同进行模拟分析,结果显示,土壤源热泵25％的负荷比例在4种配置方案中最...

为了对专家系统中的知识进行表示,并使得推理变得更加准确高效,介绍了一种结合符号规则、神经网络和案例的方法。该方法是把一种混合规则,即神经规则和案例结合在一起。它与传统的基于符号规则推理不同的是,即使有一些未知的输入,也可以执行基于神经规则的推理。实验证明,与传统的专家系统比较,混合推理可以提高故障诊断的效率和精确度。
